Wera Alcides

Wera Alcides belongs to the Guarani Mbya people. Inspired by the biodiversity of the Atlantic Forest (only 8 percent remains of the original cover of this forest, which is one of the most biodiverse in the world and which was nearly destroyed by colonisation), Alcides creates sculptures of the animals of this region, representing the aesthetics of his people.
