Conservation Action Trust (Debi Goenka)

The Conservation Action Trust is a registered nonprofit organisation formed to protect the environment, particularly forests and wildlife. The main purpose of the Trust is to educate and enlighten decision makers and the public about the importance of forests for our survival. The role of forests in protecting the water security of the country is one of the major thrust areas of CAT.

CAT is dedicated to providing assistance in the form of technical information, legal advice, aid and equipment to all those who are confronting environmental problems. At the helm of CAT is Debi Goenka. Debi Goenka has been connected with nature since as early as his college days. With more than 35 years of experience, he has been determinedly working for conservation and protection of the environment.
